Situated on the very fertile soils of the southern region, Savannah is a sugar cane growing company: 2,600 hectares of land are under cane cultivation. Field operations have been substantially mechanised and a harvest of approximately 220,000 tonnes of sugar cane is reaped annually.
In addition, Savannah has branched into cattle farming, the cultivation of food crops as well as tropical flowers and roses for local and foreign markets.
Mon Desért-Alma has been officially amalgamated to Savannah on the 30th of December 2009. This merger will increase the company land under cultivation to 5,600 hectares of land under cultivation.
