Leasing Coordinator

Outline of job role and purpose

Main responsibilities

  • Prepare reminder letters and renewal agreements for expiring leases with the approval of the Centre Manager/Leasing Manager;
  • Process applications for new lease, lease renewal, lease variation and applications for consent for lease transactions;
  • Maintain and update rent rolls and related lease schedules and databases;
  • Prepare termination/expiry letters when required;
  • Consolidate ground information which will be useful to the Leasing Manager and senior management in the preparation of legal cases with the support of the appointed legal team;
  • Coordinate with Centre Manager to stamp new and renewed leases;
  • Prepare letters between landlord and tenants as requested;
  • Provide support in the interpretation of lease documents - assist in answering tenant questions and related matters;
  • Prepare new tenant leases and offer letters.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • HSC holder or Diploma in Business Administration;
  • 2 years prior experience in property leasing would be an advantage;
  • Strong organisational skills;
  • Ability to cope with pressure and execute two or more tasks concurrently;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word;
  • Excellent English and French - both verbal and written.
