Outline of job role and purpose

The Rogers Group (a listed international services and investment company) is recruiting a high calibre entrepreneurial profile to lead and drive the operations and development of the Sales & Marketing functions of its Hospitality Sector which employs 2000+ people in Mauritius. 

The Rogers Hospitality sector is composed of:

-       seven medium to up-market hotels operating under two brands: Heritage Resorts and Veranda Resorts;

-       one business hotel of 116 rooms operating under the brand: Voila Hotel

-       a rental pool of fifty luxury villas operating under the brand: Heritage Villas

-       a spa & cosmetics franchise under the brand: 7 Colours Spa

-       a championship golf course (+ 2nd course under construction - opening planned for Sep 2022)

-       a superb beach club (C-Beach Club)

-       a late 19th chateau-restaurant (Heritage Le Chateau)

-       an iconic destination restaurant (Le Chamarel Restaurant)

-       a fleet of catamarans and speedboats operating under the brand: Croisieres Australes

-       5 Quick service restaurants under the franchise: Domino’s Pizza

-       3 Seafood restaurants under the franchise: Ocean Basket 


  • Define and drive both local and international sales & marketing strategies
  • Build and sustain a strong enabling culture
  • Revisit the sales strategy and embed a stronger direct and digital sales focus
  • Develop strategic partnerships to enhance brand
  • Coach team members and reinforce the Sales & Marketing competencies
  • Embed an outward mindset and sustain a strong commercial spirit
  • Ensure operational excellence in the delivery of services
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key partners & stakeholders
  • Embed a strong sustainability and inclusive development philosophy
  • Keep abreast of developments in the industry & embed stronger digitalisation drive
  • Ensure positive brand image of the business 


  • Masters in Sales & Marketing or any other acceptable Postgraduate qualifications
  • At least 10 years’ experience in a Senior Management role in international multiple hospitality brands operations and management
  • Strong track record Sales & Marketing in the 4–5-star hospitality segment
  • Knowledge of Mauritian context and source markets will constitute a definite advantage
  • Able to speak, write and read French and English
  • Strong Digital expertise
