Outline of job role and purpose
Veranda Pointe aux Biches is looking for a passionate and talented professional dedicated to take up the challenge as Front Office Executive.

Main Responsibilities:

• Handle and monitor of guests’ complaints and the relevant follow up action required
• Welcome important guests or groups
• Ensure Guests’ / Repeaters’ satisfaction at all times and be totally aware of their preferences
• Coordinate & supervise activities in his/her department
• Ensure that respective team projects a warm, professional and welcome image
• Establish and maintain effective interpersonal relations and takes active interest in the welfare, safety & development of Team Members
• Interact regularly with guest to obtain feedbacks for improvement
• Ensure that the percentage of Guest questionnaire filled in are as per objectives set
• Set the annual operating budget and ensure that it is strictly adhered to and managed on a monthly basis
• Establish cost management plan
• Follow up of the Department Budget on a monthly basis
• Manage Roster
• Manage Rooms allocation
• Ensure that invoices to Guests are accurate
• Manage cash float
• Receive report on rooms allocated to TO from Head Office and plan allocation accordingly
• Check list of arrivals, departures and billing of guests to ensure correct inputs
• Adhere to the legal provisions in drawing up work schedule
• Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units
• Notify the Sustainable Development Department of any matters that may pose any impact to the environment and society

Candidate Profile:

• Diploma in hospitality / tourism management or any other acceptable qualifications
• At least 5 years work-related experience in front office operation with at least 3 years in a supervisory position and strong familiarity with hotel management system
• Fluent in English and French both written and spoken, a third language would be an advantage
