Outline of job role and purpose

Description of Job: Superdist Ltd Leader in IT Distribution across Indian Ocean Islands is looking for a dynamic and high-performing Sales Executive who will form part of the Huawei team in Mauritius.

He/she will be responsible to meet customer acquisition, sales targets and help in the development of the Brand across the region.

We are an important link in the supply chain connecting IT hardware manufacturers and consumers. As such, we also provide presale and aftersales services to retailers, which are extended to the end buyer.

ACCOUNTABILITY:   Sales & Marketing

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies to achieve personal sales targets and motivate associates to optimize sales performance.
  • Achieve a deep understanding and knowledge of the Product Portfolio
  • Visit customers to present all Superdist products and/or services offered by Superdist.
  • Able to explain the products and services offered, how they work and why it is beneficial to the customers.
  • Identify potential customers on the market and make first contact to set up a meeting for presentation of services /products.
  • Actively solicit orders from existing and potential customers.
  • Maintain and increase the sales volume of products and services.
  • Assist in producing sales forecast, setting up sales targets and achieving sales targets.


ACCOUNTABILITY:   Customer Service

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with customers to demonstrate and explain features of products and services.
  • Able to identify customers’ needs and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationship with existing and new customers.
  • Report promptly to Product Manager of any product and/or service complaints.
  • Assist in the review of customer complaints and discuss remedial action with the Product Manager.
  • Maintain effective communication throughout store and communicate customer experiences and feedbacks to re-align company strategies accordingly.
  • Resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history; identifying alternate means for filling orders; notifying managers and customers.


ACCOUNTABILITY:   Management support

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Product Manager regarding targets and objectives to Achieve
  • Analyze and recommend enhancement in profitability in order to achieve all company’s objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to all company procedures and policies and monitor store inventory to maximize profits.

ACCOUNTABILITY:   Administration

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare office contacts, quotations, logistics proposal for customers.
  • Follow up on debtors list to ensure that all payments due by customers all settled in the shortest delay.
  • Submit any special reports concerning the operation of the territory, the customers’ feedback and any other information related to the Product Manager
  • Prepare and submit reports to Management on a weekly basis including activity and follow-up and Sales Forecast
  • Participate in showroom events as and when required.

Candidate Profile:

  • HSC holder and any combination of qualification or experience in the Sales and Marketing sector.
  • More than 7 years on-the-field work experience in Sales and Marketing in the ICT sector.
  • Dynamic, Motivated, Pleasant and extrovert personality, Enthusiastic and Customer service oriented with an efficient and business-like approach.
  • Fully computer literate and highly proficient in written and spoken English and French.
  • Sales Expert with proven achievement of target
  • Grooming with a professional and neat appearance is essential.
