Accounts & Administrative Officer

Field Good Fresh Foods Limited is seeking a motivated and dynamic Accounts & Administrative Officer to join its growing team.

Main Accountabilities:

• Maintain and update accounting records, including trial balance, cashbook, and bank reconciliations.
• Handle petty cash, prepare deposits, process receipts and supplier invoices, and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare purchase orders, cheques, and reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts.
• Follow up on client invoicing, debt collection, and overall cash flow monitoring.
• Assist with month-end closing, financial reporting, and audit preparation (internal and external).
• Support the maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register and ensure accurate reporting to the Accountant and Accounts Supervisor.
• Maintain proper filing systems and records, including confidential information.
• Liaise with clients to handle requests and follow up on account-related matters.
• Prepare and follow up on bank transfer letters and other administrative documentation.
• Assist with various administrative and project-related tasks, including providing support during colleagues’ absence and occasional site visits.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Diploma in Finance / ACCA Level 1 or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in accounting and administration (experience with Sicorax or Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent command of English and French, both written and spoken.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills with high integrity.
• Dynamic, motivated, and detail-oriented with a professional and pleasant attitude.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
