Accounts Officer

Rogers Real Estate & Agribusiness is seeking to recruit an Accounts Officer for its shared services of Agrïa limited, Case Noyale Ltée and Les Villas de Bel Ombre Limited.

 

The Accounts Officer will be responsible to perform various duties as assigned:

 

Outline of the job

 

  • Responsible for handling the accounts of creditors. Capture suppliers' invoices and update account information or resolve any issues.
  • Process suppliers' invoices and check requests.  Match vendor invoices to purchase order information, resolve discrepancies. Ensure adherence to existing procedures and controls.
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly bank reconciliations as and when necessary. Assist in the preparation of statutory returns and other reports.
  • Prepare the reconciliation of un-reconciled balances and pending payments by collecting further documents, evidence, contractual basis, or any commitments to justify payments.
  • Initiate the process of credit applications with suppliers.
  • Assist Accounts officer Bank to all queries relating to payments.
  • Perform monthly supplier reconciliations to support all payments to approved suppliers. Ensure that the intercompany records are accurate and issue cross verification confirmation to sister companies on a regular basis.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

 

  • A minimum of 1 years of working experience in accounting related duties
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or partly ACCA qualified.
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work both independently as well as a member of a team.
