Job Summary.

As a Data Analyst & ETL Specialist at Axess, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and transforming data into actionable insights. Additionally, you will be involved in ETL processes to ensure the availability and quality of data for analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and business objectives.
• Develop SQL queries to extract and retrieve data from databases, data warehouses, and other sources.
• Clean, preprocess, and transform data to prepare it for analysis.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate findings.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support data-driven decision-making.

ETL Responsibilities:

• Extract data from various sources, including APIs, databases, flat files, and external systems.
• Transform and standardize data to meet business requirements, including data cleansing and validation.
• Load data into data warehouses and other storage systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor ETL processes, troubleshoot data integration issues, and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to design and implement ETL workflows.
• Maintain ETL documentation, including data mapping and transformation rules.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in data analysis and SQL query development.
• Knowledge of ETL concepts and experience with ETL tools and processes.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI or similar) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new data sources and technologies.
