Job Objective
The Quality Controller will oversee and monitor the repair process and ensure that repairs are performed to the highest quality standards in compliance with manufacturer specifications, industry regulations, and customer requirements. The Quality Controller will also ensure the maintaining of the safety and reliability of vehicles and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities and duties:
- To monitor supervise the repair activities performed by technicians to ensure adherence to quality standards, repair guidelines, and safety protocols.
- To conduct thorough inspections and audits of repaired vehicles at various stages to identify any defects, improper repairs, or deviations from manufacturer specifications.
- To utilize diagnostic tools, equipment, and inspection techniques to assess the quality and accuracy of repairs.
- To communicate repair quality findings to the relevant stakeholders, including technicians, service managers, and customers, ensuring clear and effective communication
- To verify the proper use of repair procedures, tools, and materials by technicians to ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
- To collaborate with repair teams to address identified issues promptly, provide guidance, and implement corrective actions.
- To document and maintain detailed records of repair activities, inspections, and quality control checks. (Submit weekly quality report)
- To identify opportunities for process improvement and implement measures to enhance repair efficiency and quality.
- To investigate customer complaints or concerns related to repair quality, diagnose the issues, and initiate appropriate corrective actions.

Qualifications & Experiences
- High school diploma or equivalent. Automotive technical certifications or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Quality Controller, Quality Assurance Technician, or similar role in the automobile repair industry
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, including bodywork, electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and diagnostics
- Familiarity with manufacturer repair guidelines and industry standards (e.g., OEM specifications, I-CAR, ASE certifications)
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, tools, and software for quality control inspections.
