Sales Manager

JOB OBJECTIVE                                                      

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the revenue and sales of the Tyre Business Unit, attaining sales targets, and offering diversified and relevant solutions to customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible to enhance customer experience by delivering exceptional service and support.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Define the strategic direction and objectives of the Tyre Business Unit to optimise profitability
  • Develop and manage the sales budget for the Tyre Business Unit, ensuring financial targets are met
  • Oversee the management of key accounts within our Tyre Business portfolio, building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Coordinate with suppliers to determine product requirements, place orders, and ensure stock levels are maintained at optimal levels
  • Foster seamless collaboration between sales and Tyre workshop teams to guarantee efficient service and repair processes, always exceeding customer expectations
  • Lead and mentor the Sales and Tyre workshop team, instilling a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Continuously monitor the industry landscape, staying updated with trends and competitor offerings to maintain our competitive edge
  • Track sales and prospect metrics, ensuring alignment with market demands
  • Produce monthly sales reports and provide additional reports as mandated by Top Management
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to oversee account receivables, ensuring prompt collections
  • Consistently monitor key performance indicators related to customer satisfaction, service efficiency, sales support, and other relevant metrics, leveraging this data for ongoing enhancements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3 years of team management experience in client-facing roles, preferably within the automotive industry
  • Education: Minimum a Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field acceptable by the Management
  • Certification in Customer Service or Client Relationship Management could be a plus
  • Knowledge of the Tyre industry would be an advantage
  • Computer skills: proficient in MS office application
  • Valid driving license
