Accounts Clerk - Grewals Mauritius Ltd

Grewals is looking for a detailed oriented and motivated Account Clerk to provide comprehensive accounting and administrative support to the finance department

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • In charge of petty cash.
  • Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process and manage all incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, addressing and resolving any billing issues.
  • Monitor and maintain accounts payable aging reports.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Verify that transactions are recorded in a timely manner.

 

Profile and Qualifications:

  •  Proven experience as an Accounts Clerk or similar role, with a strong emphasis on accounts payable and bookkeeping.
  • ACCA Level 1 or any other accounting training course will be an advantage
  • Cash handling experience
  • Computer literate with ability to learn new software applications.
  • Dynamic, hardworking, pro-active and pleasant personality
  • Ability to work under pressure and to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work both independently as well as a member of a team.
