Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Promote and sell Grewals’ and JMD’s full product range including timber, iron sheets, fencing, and aluminium solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through field visits, referrals, and market intelligence.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients in the Western region.
- Conduct regular site visits to understand client requirements and provide technical advice.
- Take accurate site measurements and gather all necessary project details for quotation preparation.
Technical & Quotation Support:
- Prepare and follow up on detailed quotations based on site assessments.
- Collaborate with the showroom team and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of proposals.
- Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the indoor showroom representative to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Encourage cross-selling and promote synergy with other sales teams across the group.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:
- HSC holder or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in building materials, construction, or related industries.
- Technical background or hands-on experience with construction materials is a strong advantage.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Customer-oriented with a proactive and solution-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Pleasant, dynamic, and enthusiastic personality.
Other Requirements:
- Computer literate (MS Office, email, quotation tools).
- Valid driving license is mandatory.
- Residing in the Western region will be a definite advantage.
